The Babolat Counter Veron 2.6 is a padel racket designed for players who win points through control, consistency and smart counter-attacking. Built for competitive padel, it features a round head shape and a large sweet spot to help absorb pace and return the ball with accuracy. The Carbon Flex face blends carbon and fibreglass for a softer, more forgiving response. Ideal for patient players who dominate rallies from the back of the court with precision.

Colour: Black / Yellow

Staff pro review:

The Counter Veron 2.6 feels stable and reassuring on impact, especially when dealing with heavy shots. It offers excellent control and forgiveness, making it easier to maintain depth and placement under pressure. Power is accessible but measured, which suits players who build points tactically rather than forcing winners. A strong option for intermediate to advanced players focused on consistency and defensive dominance.

Product Details:

  • Carbon Flex surface combining carbon and fibreglass for controlled, forgiving power
  • Hybrid head shape with large sweet spot for maximum control
  • HPS hole pattern to improve precision and energy transfer
  • 3D Spin raised surface texture for added spin and ball grip
  • VIBRABSORB SYSTEM to reduce vibration and enhance comfort

  • 38 mm frame thickness for consistent feel and stability

FAQs:

1. How does the Counter Veron 2.6 differ from the Counter Viper 2.6?

The Veron version is more forgiving, with a softer Carbon Flex face that prioritises comfort and accessibility over maximum stiffness.

2. Is the hybrid shape beneficial for defensive players?

Yes, it increases the sweet spot and control, helping players return difficult shots with better accuracy and fewer mishits.

3. Does the Carbon Flex face reduce power significantly?

No, it moderates power rather than removing it, making shots easier to control while still providing enough punch to finish points when needed.

Diamond Shape - Power Focus

High Balance & High Sweet Spot. Combines explosive power with precise control for players who consistently find the sweet spot. The diamond shape distributes more weight towards the racket head, resulting in a head-heavy balance that naturally increases power on attacking shots.

Teardrop Shape - All Round

Medium Balance & Centred Sweet Spot. Combines impressive power with excellent control for players who want all-round performance. The teardrop shape distributes weight more evenly across the racket, creating a medium balance that offers the perfect blend of power, control, and manoeuvrability.

Round Shape - Control Focus

Low Balance & Bigger Sweet Spot. Delivers outstanding control and forgiveness for players who value consistency and precision. The round shape distributes weight evenly toward the handle, creating a low balance that improves manoeuvrability and provides a larger sweet spot.

Hybrid Shape - Counter-Attacking Focus

Combines power, control, and versatility for players who want the best of both worlds. The hybrid shape blends characteristics of multiple racket designs, creating a balanced feel with a generous sweet spot and reliable performance in both attack and defence.
