Babolat Pure Drive 98 Gen 11 Tennis Racket

Babolat Pure Drive 98 Gen11

First introduced in 2019 under the VS moniker, the Babolat Pure Drive 98 tennis rackets stands out for its controllable power and precision. Boasting the most compact head size in the Pure Drive series, this racket now features a tighter 16x20 string pattern, providing players with the control needed to unleash aggressive shots loaded with pace and spin.

At 305g weight and a 98 square inch head size, this model in the range is aimed squarely at better players who prefer a heavier swing weight and a smaller head for that extra bit of control that good players demand.

• NF²-Tech 2.0 - A new version 2.0 of natural flax fibres. This new 100% unidirectional flax fabric offers greater mechanical strength in the direction of the fibres and optimal filtration of vibrations. The flax patches are strategically placed to effectively filter vibrations and transmit only the desired feel to the player's hand.
• FSI Power - Frame String Interaction Power is a technology that combines an open string pattern, diamond-shaped grommets and a Woofer system to enhance the energy return of the strings. A longer contact time between the ball and the strings gives you more power and feel when you hit the ball.
• HTR System - The High Torsional Rigidity (HTR) system is a new lay-up composition in the hoop of the racquet for increased rigidity to produce explosive winners at will.
• Elliptic Frame - Elliptical frame structure with optimal resistance and overall rigidity for phenomenal power.
