Wang's current support team includes her father, Wang Peng, and Serbian technical coach Aleksandar Slović, who clinched the men's singles title at the 2009 Summer Universiade and has previously trained with Novak Djokovic. Her fitness coach is Miro Hrvatin from Croatia, complemented by a Chinese physiotherapist from Nanjing. With Slović's guidance, Wang has had the opportunity to train with several Serbian players overseas. She presently hones her skills at the Tennis & Badminton Centre of the Shenzhen Sports Centre.
