Babolat Pure Strike Rackets Range

The Babolat Pure Strike tennis rackets have been designed for players who prioritise control and precision in their game. Pure Strike rackets typically feature a midsized head, with a smaller head size, this creates a sweeter spot that's not overly large, allowing for more precise shot placement.

The Babolat Pure Strike variations explained :

  • Pure Strike Tour: Weight 320g, 98 sq.in head size, a relatively high weight for a performance racket. It provides stability for powerful strokes and better control, but it might require a developed swing technique and strength to handle effectively.
  • Pure Strike 97: Weight 310g, 97 sq.in head size, a performance-oriented option designed for advanced players who prioritise ultimate control and precision on their shots.
  • Pure Strike 98 16/19: Weight 305g, 98 sq.in head size, performance-oriented tennis racket designed for advanced players who prioritise control and precision with their shots. This size offers a good balance between power and control.
  • Pure Strike 98 18/20: Weight 305g, 98 sq.in head size, denser string pattern spaces the strings closer together, compared to the 16/19 version. This enhances control even further, allowing for pinpoint shot placement and minimizing ball deflection on impact.
  • Pure Strike 100 16/20: Weight 300g, 100 sq.in head size, designed for aggressive intermediate and advanced players who prioritise control and precision with their shots, while still seeking a slightly larger head size for more forgiveness compared to the 98 sq. in.
  • Pure Strike 100 16/19: Weight 300g, 100 sq.in head size, lighter weight and potentially more forgiving flex could make this racket suitable for intermediate players who are transitioning from beginner rackets and want a more performance-oriented option.
  • Pure Strike Team: Weight 285g, 100 sq.in head size, this size offers a good compromise between power and control. A lightweight racket, makes it easier to manoeuvre and potentially more forgiving on the arm, which can benefit intermediate players developing their strength.
  • Pure Strike Lite: Weight 265g, 100 sq.in head size, designed for ambitious beginners and intermediate players who want a lightweight, control-oriented option to develop their game.

New for 2024, there is the classic Pure Strike 97 for those that really love a thin beam, small head size (97) and slightly heavier weight (310g). This model also comes as a matched pair, which is factory matched with exactly the same stats for both rackets.
