Dunlop FX Tennis Rackets

Experience a new standard of power and comfort with the brand-new Dunlop FX series. Designed from the ground up for a comfortable, reliable hitting experience, has a new aerodynamic frame shape and grommet structure which increases string movement for an enlarged sweet spot which packs more hitting power. The new FX series has been engineered to give players the perfect balance of power and comfort.

The Dunlop FX boasts 3 key technologies to deliver its fantastic playability:

  1. The PowerBoost Groove is a new grommet structure engineered to increase string movement and enlarge the sweet spot, allowing players to unleash decisive smashes and ground strokes.
  2. The aerodynamic PowerBoost Frame Geometry ups your swing speeds for more power, and also enhances your shots consistency and stability with its wider throat design.
  3. Power grid string tech - Re-designed string bed is larger across the main & cross strings, providing more even power distribution, particularly at the racket top. String movement generates more power & spin.

The Dunlop FX variations explained:

  • FX 500: Weight 300g, Head Size 100 sq.in, a performance-oriented tennis racket designed for intermediate to advanced players who want a blend of power, spin, and control. It sits within the Dunlop FX series, known for its powerful performance characteristics.
  • FX 500 Tour: Weight 305g, Head Size 98 sq.in, falls on the heavier end of performance rackets for its head size, offering stability for powerful strokes. However, it might feel slightly heavy for beginners or players transitioning from lightweight rackets.
  • FX 500 LS: Weight 285g, Head Size 100 sq.in, has a stiff flex profile. Translates to explosive power potential on ball impact, aiding in powerful baseline hitting. It can be less forgiving on off-centre hits and demands a higher level of technique to handle effectively.
  • FX 500 Lite: Weight 270g, Head Size 100 sq.in, designed for game improvers, intermediate players, and even advanced juniors who prioritize manoeuvrability, speed, and a comfortable feel while still packing a punch.
  • FX 700: Weight 265g, Head Size 107 sq.in, falls on the lighter end of performance rackets, making it easier to swing and offering greater forgiveness compared to heavier options in the FX series.
  • FX Team 285: Weight 280g, Head Size 100 sq.in, significantly larger than standard midsized rackets, offering a massive sweet spot. This allows for maximum forgiveness on off-centre hits, generating decent power even with less than perfect technique.
  • FX Team 260: Weight 260g, Head Size 100 sq.in, a great choice for recreational players and developing players who want a forgiving and user-friendly racket that allows them to focus on improving their game.
