Transitional Tennis Rackets

As a specialist tennis retailer, both online and in-store, we have found this to be one of our most popular categories over the years. This category includes ultra-light rackets, generally under 265g in weight. These rackets suit two specific types of players:

1. Good junior players graduating to a first adult racket so need a really light racket with a small grip (we specifically stock rackets in grip size 0 (4 inches) or 1 (4 1/8 inches)) Junior players should choose the rackets which are 100 sq in or less.
2. These rackets appeal to players who would like to use the same racket as their favourite pro, but with a user-friendly weight (under 265g) and head size 100 sq in or more up to 115 sq in. Experienced club players tend to love these lightweight rackets with bigger head sizes.

These rackets are generally the same materials and technology as the pro frames by the same brands but are just ultra-lightweight rackets (sometimes also with bigger head sizes) in the same family of rackets within the brand.
