Yonex VCORE Tennis Rackets

The new 2023 model, now in the 7th generation, is a true work of art, combining technology and craft. It provides undeniably precise spin and remarkable control. The new colours add a striking look to those flashing top spinners.

The latest VCORE range is Yonex's most powerful range of tennis rackets, offering more spin and power, and focuses on allowing you to rapidly move from defence to offence by letting you hit penetrating, high-trajectory spin balls when needed. This range is perfect for the modern tennis player that wants to maximise spin potential.

Yonex has improved the VCORE Range, featuring Yonex’s signature technology minimizes air resistance to produce faster and more manoeuvrable rackets. Faster string snap back produces greater spin. A more stable frame (less racket torque) increases control.

Yonex has made some big updates, adding silicone oil infused grommets for quick racket flex and snap back.

The Yonex VCORE variations explained:

The Yonex VCORE 98 range:

  • VCore 95: Weight 310g, Head Size 95 sq in, ideal for advanced players as it demands more precise technique for consistent shot making. This head size offers a smaller sweet spot compared to larger rackets, but still has a combination of control, spin potential, and stiff flex.
  • Vcore 98: Weight 305g, Head Size 98 sq in, with this head size, you can expect good balance between, spin, power and control. It allows for an aggressive play style yet maintaining some precision for shot placement.
  • VCore 98 Tour: Weight 315g, Head Size 98 sq in, designed for players with exceptional technique, superior arm strength, love to dominate the baseline with powerful ground strokes and heavy topspin.
  • VCore 98+ plus: Weight 305g, Head Size 98 sq in, a powerful and spin-oriented racket for advanced players, with the extended handle length, this provides more power potential but might affect manoeuvrability.
  • VCore 98L: Weight 285g, Head Size 98 sq in, lightweight and user-friendly racket for intermediate players, recreational players, seeking a comfortable racket that offers forgiveness and easy power generation.

The Yonex VCORE 100 range:

  • VCore 100: Weight 300g, Head Size 100 sq in, the larger head size creates a bigger sweet spot compared to VCORE 98 models. This offers more forgiveness on off-centre hits, allowing for more consistent power even with less than perfect technique.
  • VCore 100+ plus: Weight 300g, Head Size 100 sq in, designed for intermediate to advanced players who seek increased power and spin from the baseline. It builds upon the VCORE 100 by offering an extended length for greater leverage on shot potential, but might impact manoeuvrability.
  • VCore 100L: Weight 280g, Head Size 100 sq in, with a lighter weight, this makes the racket easier to swing, more manoeuvrable, and less demanding on the arm. Which is beneficial for intermediate players who are still developing their technique and strength.

The Yonex VCORE entry-level range:

  • VCore Game: Weight 270g, Head Size 100 sq in, a beginner-friendly racket that can still be a good option for those starting out or looking for a comfortable and forgiving racket. Yet still allowing for some control over shot placement as they develop their technique.
  • VCore Ace: Weight 260g, Head Size 98 sq in, a good balance between power and control. It's not too small for forgiveness, but not too large to sacrifice control. The sweet spot is still decent for powerful shots, while allowing for some precision.
  • VCore Feel: Weight 250g, Head Size 100 sq in, designed for entry-level to intermediate players who prioritise balance, manoeuvrability, comfort, and playable power. It offers a blend of features that make it suitable for players who are still developing their technique.
